Investing in mutual fund takes a lot of courage because you face some risks of losing your hard earned money. We all know our stock market is very volatile and do not offer fixed interests. But if you are determined and committed to achieving financial freedom in the future, meaning you have long-term goals, then you’re on the right track.
Good thing, with mutual fund, they are managed by fund managers so you don’t need to give so much focus on how the market goes. As long as you are consistently investing part of your hard-earned money to your mutual fund account, you’ll reap them abundantly in the future.
So let me congratulate you on taking this step towards financial freedom! Hooray!!!
Now, I’m going to share 3 different ways on how you can add more funds to your Sun Life mutual fund account.
Automatic Debit Arrangement
Automatic debit arrangement is a facility offered by some companies that allow them to collect money directly from the account holder’s bank account.
Below are the lists of banks where you can have your mutual fund account to be automatically debited.
Download the ADA form of bank where you want your account to be enrolled in auto invest.
You may contact your MF Advisor to help you in filling up these forms or just refer to this guide to make things easier. After filling up the form, you can submit them to any of our Sun Life Client Service Centers and wait for 2-3 weeks for your account to be updated.
You can call our Customer Service hotline (849-9888) to check the status of your enrollment.
2. Over-The-Counter Transaction
If you’re not comfortable with automatic investing and you want to personalize your budget or income before even distributing it to your insurance, investment and bills (just like what I sometimes do), you can do over-the-counter transactions to invest in your mutual fund account.
